BrightOS Education envisions playing a critical role in the transformation of students from consumers to creators. We have developed a unique approach to teaching, which is basically centered in technology integration and innovative approaches. Through the combination of hardware, software tools, resources and support, we are committed to shaping the minds of future leaders. We have taken inspiration from the success of different people, including Vishen Lakhiani. Lakhiani’s 3 most important questions have guided us in developing a methodology to help students achieve astounding results. They are highly instrumental in defining goals and, more importantly, identifying the strategies by which these goals are achieved.
What Do You Want To Experience?
The first of the 3 most important questions basically deals with the goals that you have in your mind. Simply put, it is all about envisioning your future. With BrightOS Education, to ask this question, we use the big picture form. We encourage our students to write their own story—to be the creator of their own future. We ask them to imagine how they want the future to be, without limitations. We encourage them to be ambitious and imagine their life to be in the most beautiful state that they desire.
How do you want to grow?
In order to achieve the things that you wish to experience, there is also a need to identify how you will grow, which brings us to the second of the 3 most important questions. To ask this question, BrightOS Education uses the project proposal form. This is where the students are encouraged to come up with as many proposals as they want. Again, this is done while encouraging them to be as creative as possible. The projects become the dots that each student will connect to realize the big picture they have envision for themselves.
What will be your contribution?
The last of the 3 most important questions asks how students will be contributory to the bigger picture. Here we ask our students to use the self-evaluation form. They are asked to critically think about how they do contribute, whether through small or big actions. Self-evaluation allows them to assess what they can do and, more importantly, how each learning experience makes a difference and completes the big picture.
BrightOS Education finds the 3 most important questions very supportive. We believe these questions help students realize what they want and how they will be able to achieve their goals. Vishen Lakhiani’s 3 most important questions provided us with a guide on how to lead students to the realization of their dreams.
