Technology–it has changed the way we live in more ways than one. It has nurtured long distance relationships and changed the way businesses operate. It has improved communication and provided people with a variety of ways to be entertained. Technology is also changing the ways we think about education. BrightOS Education, for instance, combines the latest advancements in technology and media to engage, enlighten and empower students. With a growing list of clients, including the Seabury School, it is providing education in a manner that is entertaining and effective.
With the use of BrightOS Education at Seabury School, kids have been given a whole new perspective on learning. It has proven to be effective in teaching children how to be a young entrepreneur. It has encouraged technology integration within the classroom in order to provide a learning environment that is not only advanced, but also collaborative, experiential, and artistically-designed.
A Student's Project
At Seabury School, since BrightOS Education has been used, children have been encouraged to think of ways in which they can build their own businesses—not only for profitability, but also for deeper causes. Let us have a look at the CTL ALT DEL Computer Recycling project that has been proposed by Jackson. The whole premise of the project is that there are many people who have old computers that are left unused in their homes, schools and offices waiting to rot. Jackson’s idea is to promote computer recycling, which is not only good for the environment but will also provide other people with access to affordable computing. In our technologically advancing era, there are still many who cannot afford computers. Jackson’s business will not only help people to get rid of old computers responsibly, but it will also help others to have their own computers at a fraction of the cost.
Students like Jackson will be able to think of similar ideas on how they can be a young entrepreneur. It is indispensable that they are provided with the necessary learning tools and approaches. Technology integration is also necessary, which is why BrightOS Education can offer the perfect solutions. Other schools will be able to encourage and enliven the entrepreneurial spirit of their students by teaching them how to do so. Children should be educated in a way that is effective, interactive, and technologically advanced. Indeed, it is high time for other schools to recognize the value of new approaches in learning to produce more business-minded students like Jackson.
